Wahlburger's at Disney?

I heard Mark Wahlberg on an episode of Wahlburger's say that he wanted to open a restaurant in Disney World. I immediately thought of Downtown Disney---my husband and I agreed that it'd be a perfect location for a restaurant like that!

But then I googled and only came up with the Orlando area. Can anyone here clear this up for us please? We'd love to visit the restaurant, but won't be able to this trip, unless it's in the park somewhere.

Thanks!

It's in downtown Orlando.

I saw that same episode, I don't know if they actually got a deal with Disney, but he did mention that he wanted to talk to Disney. He said he wanted to talk to Universal too. I wouldn't count my chickens yet, until Disney actually announces it, I took what Mark said with a grain of salt.

Hope Disney passes. That place is NOTHING special. :crazy2:

Which location did you eat at? How many times have you eaten there? What did you order? Sorry for all the questions, my family and I are very curious about it. I'm not too big on Mark, but I really enjoy me some Donnie and the other Wahlbergs.

I've been to the original (Hingham, MA) location at least 2 times (I think). It's not that the food is bad - it's just average. The menu is pretty small - I, personally, would think that a burger place would have more than 5 burgers on the menu. It's also on the more expensive side for such a restaurant, as you have to pay separately for any sides.

I guess my issue is that it's just really over-hyped. For the cost, we can get a much better burger elsewhere without having to watch a looped highlight reel of Mark and Donnie's movie and TV careers. :confused3

LOL! I see...thank you for the info. Cheers!

No. The Orlando location has not opened. They just announced they were coming a few weeks back, so I would think it would be a little while before they opened.

I agree 100% been there a few times and probably won't got back ! Too much hype! Too much self promotion with all of the clips on loop! Too few choices ! The "government " cheese is awful! Alma nove is much better if you want to give the wahlburgs your money!
