Let me start this by saying I am such a lucky girl, I REALLY love my husband, he is a wonderful man and a great father.

Today while I was out shopping he thought he would help me out and weed one of my flower beds. I think you can see where Im going with this. I had some gorgeous flowers that I didnt plant of course but I was really looking forward to seeing them. Had being the key word.

I wont tell him any of this. I wont tell him he pulled flowers as well as weeds. He was being nice and trying to help and I really DO appreciate the effort. I had to tell someone though

Great guy, they are only flowers. He is a keeper . He could do mine , I don't mine losing a few flowers if the weeds are gone too.

around here i do most of theweeding, but i have this theaory,, if it might bloom leave it,, i have a lot of nice wild flowers in the beds now,,lol,, dandelions,, etc,, hey they are t echnically flowers....

Dh is famous for weedwacking my flowers I had some beautiful lavender starting to bloom and he whacked the heck out of it Don't know if it will recoup or not, but I hope so His theory is if it doesn't have a flower on it yet, then it's a weed that needs to be whacked

I have to admit, I would rather him do the yard work, than me have to, so I just asked him before he goes whack happy from now on he is to check with me Gotta love men

I once did a weeding on my DH's garden. It was pretty messy-looking, so I cleaned it up, pulled all the tall grass and dumped it on the driveway so he could see it when he came home. Wouldn't he be surprised

He was surprised all right. And upset I had pulled up every bit of his CORN. We laugh about it now and he has promised to always label the corn in the future.
