Is this not basically what every single person in this thread just said but in corporate Disney talk....??

Yep.

Disney saying they'll accommodate doesn't equate to them saying they'll allow the wagon, especially since there are other ways to accommodate the disability.

There is no requirement to provide the preferred accommodation, just an accommodation, such as stroller as a wheelchair. And especially when a wagon isn't an actual need but rather a want for the convenience of the parent.

I didn’t say it did, but it’s definitely better than a bunch of people who think they know everything. ✌️

You must have thought people here know quite a bit, seeing as you're the one who came here asking the questions.
Not really, more like other people’s experiences 😂 Not people who think they’re honorary cast members.

You did get other people’s experiences. Several posts on this thread are folks who had similar requests as yours. Recommendations to use separate strollers comes those who have been turned away from the gate and had to go back to their resort or car and switch to a backup plan, thus losing at least an hour of their day.

Experiences without acting like a know it all is helpful. Others, not so much. That’s just being a keyboard warrior. Basically, I value those who didn’t come at me like yourself. Have a magical day😁

Tone can be very hard to convey through a keyboard. Everybody who has posted here has done so with intent to help. Based on the posters and their history of posting, I can assure you they all either have a disability themselves or are a parent/close-caregiver of someone with a disability. No keyboard warriors. If you want to be right, you're only seeing those posts as negative replies. Maybe take break and re-read at a later point when you are more open to accepting the advice you requested.

We can only tell you what the rules are. What each CM may or may not allow can be different, which I think is unfortunate. You could have 5 people post they were fine with a wagon, and 5 people who say they were turned away. None of us can speak to what the specific CMs you will run into may or may not allow. We can only tell you that according to the Disney site, wagons are not allowed. And only you can know if you want to take the chance of bringing one or not. If you are told it isn't allowed, what will you do?

So that line in the letter you got from disney where it says they will be happy to "discuss available options"? Chances are good that when you get there they are going to tell you the "available options" are to rent one of their strollers. There's a slight chance they'll let you in with the wagon, but it's unlikely. You can feel good about that letter if you want, but when it comes down to it you are at the mercy of whoevers at the gate and that letter is basically saying that in cheery disney language. I don't agree with Disney's policy regarding wagons and special needs children, but the sad fact is most people in your situation are turned away

This letter basically says - "we'll see what you say when you get here, but we might let the wagon in, we might not."

I am a Disneyland local and go to DL all the time. I see people being questioned and turned away with wagons all the time. For every 1 wagon I see in the park, I see 4-5 turned away at the parking structure/trams. Security will page a manager to come make a decision on the wagon. I would definitely not count on getting it in. If it is approved, they add a blue tag to mark it as approved. You then will get the red tag similar to what you have had before in the parks.
