What do ya'll think of this (in October)
2 adults 14yo son, possibly 2- 7yo's (i won't know about that til later)

If its the 3 of us a carriage ride would be approx $45
3 adults on a wagon ride = $24 plus 2 kids = $34
these would be 30min to an hour?
OR
Rent a golf cart $50 -$60 a day??

For those who have done any of these, what do you think?
We will have our bike for the trip. And if the kids join us they will be there for two days. One will be for the Halloween party, the other I would like to do something else... the wagon or golf cart?
Any ideas, THANKSpirate:

Golf Cart - we followed the Horse Drawn wagon ride the time we were, got the sense of what it would be like to be on that ride but had the GC the whole day for similar money

We always rent a golf cart at the Fort. Not only does it serve a purpose of getting us around the campground but it is also a big part of our entertainment while we are there as we really enjoying riding through the loops to look at sites, rigs and even lights in the evening.

It is an added expenses but it is still less than the cost of a 1 day admission for 1 adult to a park.

They do a haunted carraige ride in October, but the carts are fun to ride around on & sightsee.

I go with golf cart, you can see the whole campground over the whole day.

Thanks everyone! I kind of figured this woud be the response. But it is helpful to know from the pros!!
Maybe one day I will be able to get my own! haha

Here's to seeing ya'll in OCTOBER!!

Golf cart! We were married in Disney last Sept and as a "gift" our family got us a "romantic" carriage ride in FW....BUT they dumped all the kids with us ! lol

You cannot see them all in this pic but we had 8 of them with us!

It was fun but the golf carts are better!

They were helping you prepare for married life! ;)

Interesting that you posted this. We were wondering the same thing for our Christmas trip. We plan an evening at FW for dinner and checking out the decorations. Other than the annoyance of having to take the bus to the front of the Fort from the boat launch, the golf cart seems like the way to go if you really want to ride around the camping loops.

We rented a cart for a couple days last August when we stayed in a cabin and it was really fun. But I didn't see the value in it if you stay all day in a park, and just use it to drive to park transportation. We rented ours for days spent hanging at the Fort, so we felt we got our money's worth.
