Waffle sandwiches

If you haven't had the pleasure of trying one, then you need to highttail it over to Sleepy Hollow and give them a whirl. DH and I had the spicy chicken for the first time earlier this month and we both LOVED it. It was a big sandwich (a little unwieldy but we managed to split one between us). I typically am a picky eater and "slaw" of any kind is not in my repartee. However I loved the slaw on this! Crunchy and yummy and the sauce was sweet and spicy and oh sooooo sticky and good! We pulled the green (spinach??) off of it as neither of us like it. A great BIG piece of chicken that was hot and juicy. Next time we'll give the nutella one a whirl.

My only complaint was the very odd set up of the queue at the restaurant. Narrow and tight.

Let me assure you that it is! I was very happy that the fruit on top was so fresh. Went perfectly with the Nutella. I highly recommend it!

I've had the chicken waffle and the nutella. Both are extremely delish!!! The chicken was too spicy for me the first time I had it, so the next time I had them put the sauce on the side. That worked perfectly, as I could control the heat.
The nutella was a nice balance with chocolate, waffle and fresh fruit. I'm going to have both on my next trip in August/Sept.

Thanks for posting your thoughts! I want to try the chicken and nutella sandwiches. Are they on the DDP as a snack? counter service? I'm having trouble finding out by searching around...

I know they aren't a snack. Don't think they are part of DDP, but haven't checked the list.

Not sure, about the AC, but the seating area is under a roof, so you are under shade.

Our last trip we did both the Nutella and Spicy chicken waffle sandwiches and they were both delicious! It was a great change of pace to some of the predictable offerings and easy enough to split among our family.

There is no A/C (you're in Liberty Square, there was no A/C back in the day ) but there is a shaded seating area located next to the shop.
