Waffle recipes?

Does anyone have a good recipe for waffle batter? I'm having a couple of days off of weight watchers over christmas and I am desperate for some waffles

Here's a really simple recipe that makes about 4 waffles (just multiply up for more):-

4oz SR flour
1/4 pint milk
1 egg
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp caster sugar
1 tsp baking powder (I don't always use this)

Mix flour, sugar and baking powder together.
Mix in egg and oil.
Gradually stir in milk until fairly smooth mixture.
Leave to stand for 30 minutes (allows flour to absorb liquid and makes much nicer waffles)

I just made gingerbread pancakes yesterday, but I based them on this waffle recipe...they were delicious!

I used 1/2 white 1/2 whole wheat flour. The favorite topping was applesauce.
