I was wondering if anyone here had any information on Disney/Jetix's animated series W.I.T.C.H. and when it's second season will air?

I'm an avid fan of the show too. I'm not a "teen" as most in this forum probably are, :smokin: just an amateur writer who enjoys great characters and original storylines, and W.I.T.C.H. is definitely one of the better-written and entertaining animated series on t.v. along with the likes of "Justice League".

I grew up in the '70's, :hippie: and Saturday morning cartoons (yep, we only got cartoons on Sat. mornings then), :sad2: and comic books were a huge part of entertainmening kids in that era. I was one of those kids, so in our more present era, I enjoy the occasional animated series in the super hero/fantasy genre which demonstrates originality, grounded characters, steady plot development, and great conflict.

W.I.T.C.H. came along and really set the tone for how an animated series should be presented, not only along the character/conflict lines, but in it's pleasing animation style.

I really don't believe a lot of fans of today's animated shows really understand or appreciate what a "gem" W.I.T.C.H. is. Apparently, the show has been a huge hit in European markets for about 5 years now.

If anyone here can offer any information about when season 2 of W.I.T.C.H. will air, I'd greatly appreciate it.

You can watch reruns of the show on Family Channel, Toon Disney, and cable's regular Disney Channel throughout the week. Just check your local listings. It probably wouldn't even be a week before you could catch the first episode.

I recorded them on VHS and then burned them to DVD for myself, because sometimes I just enjoy popping the show in and watching a few episodes.
