I just wanted to tell you guys how awesome it was to be out there to cheer all you guys on!!!!

As you guys know I have know it has been a struggle for me not to be able to run, but I cant not tell you how good it felt to be out there to give encouragement!! To you guys especially but to 1000's of people who I truly admire and have much respect for.

Everyone of you, I mean everyone of you truly inspired me with your hard work and persistence YOU SHOULD ALL - KNOW MATTER WHAT YOUR TIME OR EVENT SHOULD BE SOOOOOOOOOO PROUD OF YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. You don't know how bad I feel for not being there for you guys that did 1/2. We were chasing DH around - mr. speedy!!! Sorry!! But he said it meant so much to him to see us there cheering him on And then we went to meet up with a friend who did her first race ever and has never been a runner, she did awesome!!!

The title says it all - THE WISH TEAM ROCKS! You guys were great. It was so special seeing the WISH team out and about. I can't tell you how much I appreciated you guys being around the course.

I have to agree! The WISH team is awesome! It was so great having everyone out there on all parts of the course yesterday! The encouragement was amazing and I know I would not have made it without you guys!!

Yes the WISH team is very special. So many wonderful people from all over the world. Everyone coming together to celabrate life and happiness. I'm proud to wear that magic florecent yellow green shirt, it truely is made with pixey dust.

I included this in my mini Goofy race report but I want to say it here too...

I cannot say enough about all the wonderful WISH support! Oh my gosh!!!!!! How can I thank you for that?!?!?! How can I express my deep gratitude for the wonderful feeling you gave me time and again that someone "out there" actually cared whether I made it?!?!?! I love you guys! I loved seeing you laughing and smiling and cheering and always being just around every corner. You really have NO IDEA how much that lifts the spirits when you are tired and hot and running behind schedule. You stayed out there even for me -- way at the end. I am all teary just thinking back about it. You are real heroes because you unselfishly gave support, time, and energy when there was nothing in it for you. I am humbled by your generosity of spirit.

I really, really, REALLY appreciate all you folks out there on the course.

You were always a welcome sight, and I looked forward to seeing your faces--even when I wasn't wearing my WISH shirt on Day 2. You made the race so much better than it already was. Thank you from the bottom of my heart--you were a sight for sore eyes (and feet)!

THANK-YOU, SCREAM TEAM!!!!!!!

You guys were all so amazing! This was my first real Disney event (not counting Tower of Terror) and I was just blown away by your support. As someone already stated elsewhere I found myself looking forward to the next WISH shirt rather than the next mile marker. There are still many of you I don't know personally and alot of the names and faces were still a blur, but a huge hug of appreciation to each and every one of you. My husband, who never posts, did the half on Saturday and said if it wasn't for the support of the WISHers he probably would not have made it. Those bright green shirts are truly magical! And the best thing about them is that they work both ways. As a spectator, it makes your athelete easy to spot and as a runner/walker you're always looking for that bright shirt in the crowd. A huge thank-you to everyone, but an even special nod to Anne whose soft-spoken support was truly motivational and to the "Twizzler ladies" Kathy and Jennifer (Cam's wonderful DD) who kept magically popping up everywhere! Nancy and I were so amused at how they managed to get around so quickly. They certainly must have covered more than 26.2 miles that day! You guys are truly awesome!

I can't say enough about the scream teams on Sunday! You guys rock! I felt like a superstar! As many of you know, Scott and I had a great first half and then a really bad second half. But when things started going downhill it was so wonderful to see those neon green shirts up in the distance! Kristi at Animal Kingdom, Kathy right outside MGM, Anne (with her wonderful ice chips at WWOS), Angie, Krista and the gang at BC/YC. You guys really got us to the finish.

Angie--I want to specifically thank you for making me laugh. You screamed out "You guys are my heroes" when we were slowly making our way into Epcot. I didn't feel like anyone's hero at that point, but it brought a smile to my face--and that little pick me up got me to the end!

And to whoever brought the wonderful WISH bags to the POP meet THANKS A MILLION!!!!! What a wonderful gesture!

Ooops, I previously posted a big thank-you to the Scream Team and forgot to mention a special thanks to Karen and John for those great WISH bags. If you noticed, I wore mine throughout the race to carry the raingear I thankfully never needed. They are lightweight and easy to run/walk with. Thanks so much!
