Finally, all is well with the world again!

Walt Disney World.... that is!

All points have been returned where they belong, and the cast member at Member Satisfaction played a huge part in assuring that the correction happened today...before the close of business.

If he hadn't been so amazing, I would still be mad and aggravated that it happened at all - but because I feel that the cast member went so far above and beyond - I can't be mad! (Plus I now have his direct number for future problems! HA)

I will NEVER accept anything other than exactly what I reserved - PERIOD.

I'm honestly glad that I discovered this when we got home - and not when we were on vacation. If we had still be there, it would have been 10+ hours of vacation time getting this mess fixed, and not time at home getting it fixed.

If you are offered something other than what you booked when you check in - kindly say...THANKS.... but NOO Thanks!

Wow, what an ordeal. Sounds like you could use another vacation after that!
 

Glad it all worked out! What a huge pain! Stuff like this should never happen. The front desk shouldn't be able to touch DVC points.
 
Thanks for posting your experience - it's a good reminder for all to check points after a stay, especially if there is any part of a reservation that involves a change from the usual. It is sad that you should have to jump through so many hoops to get the situation fixed. That should be a separate email to Member Satisfaction. (Just to add to the hours you've already devoted to this...)
