Hey there,

We just successully switched our reservation for Jan 2003 from BWV to VWL. Any tips on staying at the VWL? We've stayed at the WL before and actually hope to stay two nights in the main lodge, but never having stayed at the villas can someone give me tips on things such as breakfast, laundry, how to make the best of our time there??? This will be our first time not stayng at our home resort.

Many thanks.:Pinkbounc :bounce:

You don't say which room size you are staying in. We stayed in a Studio in May and loved it. We were on the 4th floor. Most all the rooms have a woods view. The odd numbered rooms have a woods view and are on the bay side. The even rooms are woods view parking lot/bus stop side. A few rooms closest to the elevator have a quiet pool view. If you want a real balcony ask for something other than 1st floor. The laundry in on the first floor for the studio guests to use. (If your staying in something other than a studio you will have laundry facilities in your room). Laundry use is free, but there are only 2 washers, 4 dryers. But when I used them mid afternoon on our arrival day, the place was empty, and I had no problem getting to use them. For breakfast, we ate at Roaring Forks, snack bar, the food was fine. We did not try any of the better restaurants at WL. We loved our studio and this was our first trip home. Being used to the moderates at Disney our studio felt spacious. I know that some think the 1 bedrooms are the way to go , but with young children the studio was great for us. One of the highlights of our trip was renting the boats and riding around bay lake. Our DD's loved the water mice. If you have time you can check into the lodge activities, hidden mickeys, tour, ... We just ran out of time. I can't wait to get back. Let me know if there is anything else I can answer for you. Erin

We have 2 studios. We didn't have enough points for a two bedroom and we havetwo families going and I didn't want to borrow all of next year's points.

I'm really looking forward to staying there.
