VWL Sleep Chair?

Hi. Does the one bedroom have a sleep chair yet??? Just wondering if we need to pack our mattress.

It did not this past February, and I do not think there are any plans to add them. Honestly, I'm not sure there is room.

The only older resort that had room for sleep chair was OKW. BWV, VWL, BCV, SSR don't have room for them.

The way it is now, no, there is no room. If they replaced the TV hutch with something a bit smaller (it's far too huge right now) and replaced the coffee table with 2 small ones, more like what AKV has so they can be re-purposed in odd corners when the couch is pulled out, there could be room.

As others have said, no, there is currently no sleeper chair in the 1 bedroom villa. But there is a rumor about a 2014 refurb to VWL that will try to get one in there.

I think instead of a sleeper chair they should do a murphy bed - either in the dining area (twin fold down, like at the Grand Californian in the TV cabinet).

I think they could also ditch the coffee table and add a sleeper ottoman - has anyone seen those? They are totally awesome! I wish we had one at home!

Keep the place the way it is. I don't want to have to pay for changes since I own there.

I own there too, and would love to see the sleeper chair in VWL (and BCV and BWV). It would make it easier for my family of 4 to stay in a 1 bedroom instead of bumping up to a 2 bedroom. My family needs 3 sleeping spaces for us to have a relaxing vacation.

After staying in a 1 bedroom at Jambo House, and using the sleeper chair there, it is hard to imagine that the 1 bedroom at VWL is too small to accomodate one. It just doesn't seem possible that the living area of the 1 bedroom at JH is larger than the living area of the 1 bedroom at VWL. It was tight opening the sleeper chair at JH.
