vwl ?? re:pool hrs. and bar hrs.

Usually we leave a few hours in the afternoo where we come back from the park and sit by the pool and have a few drinks. This trip may be slightly different with 24 people. If we come back to the lodge at 9:00, can the kids still swim? Can't find pool hours anywhere! Is there still aplace to get a drink at that hour?
After doing parks with 24 family members, I'm going to need one!

We have swam in the Main pool at WL as late as 12:00.
The quiet pool at the villas, we have been in as late as 1:30am. It seems as long as your not overly loud they'll let you swim. We've made many trips to the VWL and we have never had a problem swimming after the parks have closed.

As far as a drink goes, I don't drink so I'm not sure.

There's a lounge on the left, as you walk up to Artist's Point (? the Territory Lounge) that has a bar and a few snacks. Would expect that a bar is open past 9 PM, but we don't drink either, so never been there.

The pool bars seem to close early (perhaps when its busy season its different). The hotel parks are open late (past midnight). The hotel bars will put your drink in a plastic "to go" cup - we did this with the Bellvue Room at the BW a few times - we took ours back to our room, you may take yours to the pool.

And the bar at WL is right outside Artist's Point. Which is very convienent to the pool.

We are usually at VWL in June and I have never seen the pool bar open very late into the evening. The pool; however, is often full when we come back from the MK after staying for fireworks. The slide closes and the lifeguards leave, but like WDWJWEB1 says - I think as long as you're not too loud, they won't run you off. My DH gets up during the night to go outside to smoke and I believe he told me he would see people in the quiet pool even around 2:00 a.m. The bar near Artist Pointe has hours posted in the flyer they give you at check-in; but I know sometimes we've gone before their scheduled closing time and they are already closed. I guess it just depends on the crowd.
