VWL question

We just booked for this year a 2 bedroom 11/14-21. We are thinking about requesting a ground floor unit so the kids can open the patio and go outside. Are there any downsides to this ?

Also, will any resort xmas decorations be up while we are there?

We had a ground floor studio at VWL once and I didn't think there was a downside to it. You would not be surrounded by the balcony railing so it would feel more open.

As for the decorations, they may be in the process of installation but probably not 100%.

We had a 2br ground floor room last year. It was the first time ever. Didn't think I would like it but actually was great. Had a tiny view of the pool which was good.

I would do it again.
