Greetings all. I would like some advice for our October trip. We currently have ressies for 5 nites beginning Oct. 12th at our home resort VWL. Was thinking of trying another resort this time (at seven month window), but Boardwalk seems a bit to wild. Have two daughters ages 5 & 10. We do like to spend some time at Magic Kingdom but walking to Epcott sounds pretty nice. Do not want commando touring this trip (been there, done that) and thought access to SAB would be nice.

Any thoughts or suggestions from those who have stayed at both?

BCV is very nice, especially during F&W. Access to Epcot and MGM is very convenient, though getting to MK may be a bit of a nuisance in the morning, with the busses and all.

The BCV would be nice because that is during the EPCOT food and wine festival. You should also consider the BWV. The side of the BWV facing MGM is actually very quiet and that is where most of the rooms are located.

We went to the BVC last October. We stayed in a 1 br suite faceing the pool. It was great. The walk to Epcot was not that bad.

If you go to there durring the Wine and food festival the BVC is the best choice. Trust me.

Say Hi to the Aligator that lives in the pond there by the bridge.

Another vote for Beach Club or Boardwalk! The location can't be beat for enjoying the Food & Wine Festival.

Just a reminder....BWV and BCV can be somewhat difficult to book in October at the 7 month window. You might want to be a little flexible on your location, though SAB would definitely be a nice draw for your daughters.

And I agree with HBC....the Boardwalk is as quiet as any resort, especially if you have a quiet pool view.
