VWL experts, Help please.

How complicated is it to get from VWL to where they show the movies at the campground? I remember doing this a s kid on my very first trip and would love to take dd. Thanks

You can easily take the boat over there. Depending on what time of year you're going (thus how late the theme parks are open, which in turn determines the boat schedules), you can also take the boat back. Be sure to check ahead of time.

I don't remember just how late the movies run.

The Contemporary/Fort Wilderness/Wilderness Lodge boat stops running at 10pm. If you take the boat over, then walk to the bus stop and catch the internal bus to get to the movie location. (I think it's the Orange route bus).

You can walk to the Settlement area at FW in about 20 minutes if it is still daylight (path is not lit) then jump on an internal shuttle.
