VWL Easter 2005

Just got a 1BR at VWL for Easter 2005! I did not know what to expect booking at the 7 month window (home resort is SSR, purchased earlier this year).

I know that the parks will be crazy but my wife is a teacher which really limits when we can vacation.

Am now looking forward to our 1st trip to a DVC resort!

I normally am just an observer on these boards but wanted to say thanks for all the info. that I have used to make the purchase and plan this vacation

I, too, am a teacher and have to travel during the most crowded times. You will learn how to navigate the crowded parks and enjoy all the benefits of DVC in no time!
We stayed at WLV over Easter 2003. It was fabulous! The only day that was a little crazy was Easter Sunday at MK--now that they have removed the Easter Parade, I think I would just pick a different park or do relaxing things at the resort.

Congratulations! Did you call day by day or just once for the whole trip? I am wanting to switch out resorts at the 7 month window next week. Thanks.

I called day by day. One of the MS folks said that it was wise to do this given the limited availability during this time.
