VWL check in?

Just curious if there is a separate check-in counter for VWL? We're going in two weeks, and it is our first stay at this resort. We'll be staying in a studio...any location to request that may be better than another?

There is only 1 check in at WL for the main lodge and the Villas. I am glad for that because of the wow factor when you walk into the lobby. Enjoy your stay!

Just hope you don't get the studio without the balcony or the one with the dumpster view.

There really isn't much of a view at VWL, mostly trees, woods and greenery.

There is a studio without a balcony - oh dear. I know about the dumpster view having gotten it one Thanksgiving. We were able to move though so I guess that really doesn't count. But where's the one without the balcony - do you know the room number so that when they say #### upon checkin I can freak out. I need the balcony to string my Christmas lights as I love walking back from the boat - looking up and saying "that's my room".

I think if you ask for a room facing the lake, you will be okay. You won't have a lake view (too many trees) but the room without the balcony is supposedly on the other side. I'm going to have to look for it sometime.

Great - I have been asking for lakeside and I think I just added in view of the pool knowing that it is just a request and that odd number rooms are lakeside. So if they give me one with an even number - I start to get nervous.

The room without a balcony is that way because there was no room for the balcony with the building construction.

4533 is a studio facing the lake without a balcony!

Thanks for the info. Now I'll know when to panic when they give me an odd number room that I think has a "view" of the lake.
