VWL 7 Months Out

We are going to WDW in July 08. I have a 1 bdroom reserved at SSR, but want to switch it to VWL. I have to wait until December before I can switch it. I just wanted to get a feeler out there to see if it is hard to get a 1 bdroom at VWL in July from the 7 month mark. Sun-Thurs btw.

When we stayed in a one bedroom in July two summers ago we booked in May. I think you will be fine. If not, you can always waitlist and I am sure you will get in.

I think that as long as you aren't including the 4th of July in your booking you'll be fine. Even then, you'd probably have a pretty good shot.

I was wondering the same thing. My plans are for a studio and a 2-br at VWL the second to last week of Aug08. Since it is less busy then July I am hoping my chances are good as well.

I'd say very good. You are avoiding Labor Day weekend, but are close to school openings so that's a good time for booking. Also, the park crowds should be less crowded.

We just got back yesterday from our 1st VWL stay and LOVED it!! We were thinking about Aug25th to Sept 3rd 2008. Are we crazy to cross over Labor Day Weekend? Is it that bad? TGM only showed 3 out of 5 for crowd levels? I am somewhat restricted since I am back in school for the next couple of years...

Labor day weekend is crowded. I'd forget about going to the MK on labor day as well. But the crowd levels drop off dramatically after labor day. So the 2nd and 3rd should be really good (much less crowds) days.

Any feel for our chances of getting a 2br at VWL for Aug25th-Sept3rd at the 7mo mark? We're considering VWL or BWV. It does cross the holiday weekend...

I waitlisted a studio and a one bedroom at VWL, This year in Feb for Apr, the one bedroom came available for all 5 days. If it is not available, I would waitlist it, peoples plans change all the time! This year I was able to book 5 days in a studio at VWL at 4 months out for Aug.
