We arrived on Sun 6/8 at MCO and rented a car, stopped at Albertsons for groceries and arrived at VWL @ 5:00. Our room was ready, but somehow we're always the furthest room at the end of the hall. We had a 1 bed #1552. at least it was on the 1st floor - with 2 strollers that's nice. I had wanted to go to Epcot for the end of the flower show, but ds 4 and ds 8 mos. were too tired. We ate lasagna, relaxed and went to bed early. Monday we headed to MK - hot and humid. We tried some rides but waits were 30 min. then the rain started @11:30. I left the ponchos in the room since my dh said it wouldn't rain until dinner time. When it finally stopped we decided to do BL, leave and come back in the evening for Spectro. We had fp for Buzz but they were having a problem with the ride. We left and went back to the lodge to swim. At 5:00 we returned to MK had dinner at the plaza - nice. Went over to Buzz and used our fastpass to get right on. My husband clipped pal Mickey to his shorts on the ride, when he came out Mickey was gone. He went back in and they checked the cars but nothing turned up. We had him for the day as a free rental (dvc members get one day free rental). My dh felt terrible it was out 1st day. We stayed for spectro, watched from above the train station on main street. So hot even at 9:00 none of the flags were moving, no air. We stayed for the fireworks and returned by boat @10:00. The next day I went to the store at WL where we got pal Mickey and explained the story. The clerk went to talk to the manager, took our receipt an d info. came back and gave us a new one! My dh couldn't believe it - I told him it was pixie dust. She asked if we wanted to rent it or buy him, so of course we bought. He doesn't seem to talk alot about the parks, tells more jokes. But hopefully in the future they'll have him doing more.
