We are leaving Friday for WDW.

I would like to know where the smoking optional rooms are located - are they only on a certain floor or at the ends of each floor or ......

We don't want to be put into a N/S room and be told its OK to do so. We respect the rights of the n/s and wouldn't feel right about it.

So... if anyone has any ideas of the locations I would appreciate it.

I figure if we have some knowledge about this at check-in we can try to rectify the problem before going to the room and finding out then.

Poly Concierge did this to us in 2000 and it took 3 hours to rectify the problem as we refused the room. They also told us it was OK to smoke in the n/s unit.

Please don't flame me for posting about smoking - just trying to do the right thing.

Thank You

I can't help you with information, but wanted to thank you on behalf of all of us nonsmokers!:D

To my way of thinking, there's really no such thing as "smoking optional" rooms. If smoking is optional, then it's a "smoking room".

I'm afraid I don't know the locations of the smoking rooms...I do know that the 4th floor nearest the WL side is non-smoking.

I also appreciate you being so conscientious about where you smoke. It is a very neighborly thing for you to do! :)

I thought I read somewhere that most of the smoking rooms are on the 2nd floor at VWL. I could be mistaken.

Thanks for thinking about us non-smokers:D That is very nice of you.

Thanks for the info and the comments.

Like Mama always said - If your respectful of others then they will be respectful of you.
