In a 1 bedroom - room location requests other than my usual high floor...never been there. Are waitlist for BLT not looking good as of now...

There is the dreaded dumpster view. I know definitely for studios and also there is one with no balcony. To be safe ask to be close to the elevators, woods view. Also, there are corner rooms that have a little more sq. ft. I would ask for them definitely!!! We love VWL, I'm sure you will too!

As to the waitlist for BLT you are within 30 days but I assume you did the longer waitlist rather than the default one which expires before 30 days out (and the only one to use when you need fewer points for the change than you are already using on the resort you have so you avoid the holding account). NYE is going to be tough to get. nevertheless, when you are this late into the process you should not just rely on waitlist but should call every two to three days to see if anything is available.

Juts in case machines don't lock me in if things open up...also, I plan on checking < 7 days daily...BLT room would have to be Studio unlike VWL 1 br as I do not have enough points...

12/31-1/2 VWL...

I had cash room at BLT for those 2 nights in a a Studio lakeview = $1500 which I cancelled once VWL opened up...
