Who else here uses a VPN?

I like the anonymity.

Lately I've been "moving" between the UK, Italy and Russia, but I have 90 other locations to hide behind

For those of you who don't know, a VPN scrambles your internet data, redirecting it around the globe. If you set it to, let's say Paris, anyone snooping around your internet activity will be fooled into thinking you are from that precise city. I love it as it not only keeps hackers on their toes but it also reassures me that my passwords and bank details are nice and anonymous

I use Express VPN. The one I first used was free. It sucked. Caused viewing issues and constantly having to reinstall and reconfigure the app. I paid $99/yr for Express VPN and have had no issues at all. I’ll renew again. I decided to bite the bullet and pay for VPN when we stayed at a Universal Studios Resort and used free Wi-Fi. Great when traveling or shopping in public venues.

I survived five years in China with a VPN in Singapore! Otherwise, no Facebook, social media, Netflix, etc.

I don't use one for normal browsing but I do use express VPN for certain things.

One thing to remember is that it's not scrambling your data, its creating a tunnel through the internet, while it's in that tunnel no one knows what it is but once it exits on the other side (your chosen location) it's normal internet data again.

When out and about my phone is configured to VPN to my home. So I am not using it for any sort of anonymity but for security.

I have one. Sometimes it's interesting to see websites you would not see from a US based IP address.
