Starting tomorrow, VP are supposed to be holding a DLRP deal. I think it's from dates 3/11/12 up to sometime in Jan 2013.

Hope that helps someone ;).

We booked with them last year for our December trip and got a really good deal at DLH.

Wish we could go back, but not this time.

I want to go back so much! But it's just not sensible :( hopefully this will be a brilliant offer and then we will be able to justify it...maybe...

How does Voyage Prive work? If you become a member do they send you e-mails or do you have to constantly go into their website to check their deals? Also can you just register to find out about DLP or will they bombard you with holiday deals from all around the world?

We have our trip for December booked so it won't be of use to us this time but would be interested to know for the future

Thanks, Paula

Yes, you have to register and yes, they do send you emails when new deals come online for all holidays. It's a bit like groupon and the like - you get ALL their emails. I just delete them if not interested.

Having said all this, just had a quick look on there today and it doesn't mention DLRP in the preview bits so I am wondering if the info I got was wrong (I read it on twitter (I think), seem to recall it was in French but can't remember where I read it) :scratchin.

If wmoon booked around this time last year, then perhaps it will happen.

Totally know what you all mean about booking another trip. We go the end of November and then not sure after that, although I keep thinking I'd like to book another. Our APs run out the beginning of June but I don't think we'll get before that. DH isn't keen to back in a hurry and we are going to Egypt at Easter so that's out. I don't fancy Feb - too cold :scared1:, and May half term wasn't great for us this year (well, it was June half term this year), it felt very flat then, so not sure I would repeat at that time of year. Then of course, like you all say here, it's the pennies too! With flights and spending money, it isn't a cheap trip, even for a few days :rolleyes2.

Anyway, fingers crossed there is a 'deal' and it helps someone get a trip booked pixiedust:.

Pretty P. they send you emails, haven't noticed being bombarded so it must just be every so often.

Not sure if you can specify just DLP, as when I registered for it t was just out of curiously after someone telling me about a great family deal for the Italian lakes, I like to have a look at the deals just in case ;)

I'm sure last year it worked out about a 50% discount on the DLH for us, they provided me with an electronic booking confirmation that I handed over when we checked in.

I have seen them do deals at least twice in the last 12 months.

It's on the original (French) site, I had an email about it a few days ago. It follows on from the one that was on Vente Privée :goodvibes

Thank you Carrie :). Does that mean people in the UK cannot use it? I wonder if not, then will they do something on the UK site soon....?

I've no idea as I've never known anybody outside of France try. You could also try creating an account and read through the t&c's :)

FWIW - Incase of any pbs the French laws would prevail and anything would have to be settled here. Consumer care and rights that exist in the UK are unheard of here. :rolleyes2

Thank you - our bank balance & my DH (:rotfl2:) wouldn't let me book another trip just now anyway. But it might be worth a look/investigate for people if up to 50% off is available! As I said earlier, perhaps the UK site will follow a little later with a deal.... :confused3

I just checked French website too, but I can't find Flash Sale for DLP.:confused3

Thank you Carrie

Today I am able to see FS offer. The price is cheaper comparing with 40% offer, but they offer only 2 or 3 days stay.

The price is shown for the stay per person,

for example for my dates 2nights/3days at NYH it shows "191€ instead of 382€"

But! It's very strange I can't choose only 1 adult and 2 children. Their systems keeps saying this option is not available.
But it available if I am adding 2 adults. So I am getting the same €382.
Seems that kids under 12 stays free.

The nice option that during checkout you could add cheap tickets for BBWWS 2 category for €30 per person.

I see I am able to change my country to the right one (unlike Disney website) during checkout.

Yep the price is per person (adult) and it's either 2 days/1 night or 3 days/2 nights so ideal for a weekend..don't forget it's addressed to the French market so less travel.

Children under 12 stay free any child over 12 is an adult

You have to have 2 adults plus children on the reservation in order to get this price that is why it isn't taking your request.

If you an adult on your own it goes to 300€ a night but there isn't any possibilty of adding children - ex HNY 1 night stay 9/12

How old are your children ?

Just out of curiousity I'm wondering would you be able to book for one person and then add a second with a annual pass at check in like you can when you book direct? Or would that not be allowed in this case?

How old are your children ?

9, 4 and 2 years old.

But I don't think I am going with this offer however.

We want longer stay, probably 4 or even 5 nights and all Flash Sales in the past I could remember were only for up to 3 nights.
I don't think it would be cheaper to make two separate bookings with Flash Sale prices, I need to do the math.
And I am hesitating booking from the French website, though I can't see anywhere on Voyage Prive website that this offer is for local residents only.

I think I need to wait for another offer. :confused3

This is not a Flash sale though in the sense that Disneyland Paris does Flash sales.

This is like a Groupon or Living Social deal in that DLP has empty rooms at certain dates for 1 or 2 nights and are selling them off.

You would not be allowed to modify, upgrade or alter in any way your reservation unless you fall into one of the categories in the additional insurance that you would have to take out.

If you reserve in a Disneylandparis.com flash sale and it becomes cheaper you can play around with your booking.

I wouldn't be trying to buy this deal if you don't fit into the boxes on the offer and would be waiting for a flash sale from DLP on either the com,fr,co.uk,de etc etc

:goodvibes

You could "normally" but with the single supplement that they add on for 1 person reserving alone I don't know if it would be worth it. :confused3

I think it would be cheaper buying a room only off Expedia or another hotel reseller :)

Definately I am feeling more comfortable to get an offer on official Disneyland website directly. I hope one will pop up soon. ;)
