Vow Renewal - no Disney package

We are planning a trip for February 2016 to take our girls (currently 4 and 1) to Disney World, and wanted to renew our vows while we were down there. The reason we are planning so far in advance is because we need to save because we don't make a ton of money, so the cheapest wedding package being $3,000 is totally raining on my parade.

Are there any other options that don't involve all of the jazz of the Memories package? I don't need a limo or any of that. I just want to be able to renew our vows with our girls.

The answer is it depends on what you want. If you want something formal with a dress, flowers and all that, then there are limited Disney options. The Swan and Dolphin is about the same price. Now since it's a vow renewal, I think if you chose an out of a way location in say your resort (where you're not bothering anyone) and just joined hands and said some nice things to each other and the girls in an informal way that can be done.
Or maybe something in your hotel room if you wanted to do something a bit nicer.
Gifts of a Lifetime has also done informal vow renewal type events. Because everything they do is custom, they don't really have pricing on their website, but I think most of their things are in the $300-$400 range.
Just remember that basically if you want something that's going to have the feel of a formal wedding then you're going to have to get a package or run the risk of having your day ruined by it being broken up.

I actually love the look of Gifts of a Lifetime. We don't need anything formal. No wedding dress or bouquet (although a cute white sundress would be nice), join hands, and exchange renewed vows. I just emailed them. Thank you so much for the link!

Looks like GOAL may be out. Got a reply back saying they are not doing vow renewals and she can't tell me if they will be doing them during our trip. I need to wait until October of next year to find out. And she suggested I start saving for a Disney package. Looks like it just may not happen if that's the case. We are already just making our budget now, forget an extra $3,000 on top of it.

Well that sucks. I knew they did them in the past. Gonna to guess that things are being cracked down on. Maybe there's something else less expensive but still special you could do with your family? Or maybe renewing your vows at home and doing something to mark it at Disney?
