We are having a vow renewal while we are visiting wdw. We had booked Ohana for dinner for us and the few friends who will be there with us (14 in total). My friend has now however cancelled the ADR for this as she has fallen out with me :( (her booking window opened before ours). As we go in October the choice of where to go has pretty much dwindled down now, there's no availability for Ohana. So I was thinking what about a catered event somewhere, not a reception but like a private dinner. Can anyone help? Is this something I could arrange? I don't have a wedding planner as it's not a wdw ceremony.

Thanks all for your help

Are you and your guests staying at a Disney owned resort? If so, you can arrange a dinner via Disney's Catered Events or at the Grand Floridian via their Intimate Dining. I think too that you can call some of the restaurants direct as well about booking their private rooms. I'm sure someone else has more information on that.

Here's some links:
Plan a Small Private Event at Disney World: Has phone numbers and email addresses
Private Birthday Party at the Tower of Terror: There's also a link to an anniversary party also planned by the same person. Menus, price breakdowns, etc.
Since you are having a group of more than 10, you'll have some options.

You can also get private dinners at jiko, the wave, and California grill. They all have private rooms.

I've booked the wave now, can anyone else me regarding the private room there? Anyone have more info on it? Would I need to call and ask to be put into the private room?

Hi Robyn,
I believe you would need to call the Wave and talk to the manager about doing a private meal. I think they have some menus you get to choose from/customize to fit your budget, but there is a minimum you need to meet (can't remember it off the top of my head and don't have my Passporter nearby, but probably $500 or $1,000 - though it could be less!).

Hope that helps! I'd give them a call!
