For reasons that I cannot simply explain right now, the vow renewal that I was planning for DH and my 15th anniversary is off. :sad1:
I did tell DH I still want to go to Atlanta/Stone Mountain for the week as that is just as important to me. So I guess now, I will just plan for a nice little anniversary trip without the vow renewal. :guilty:
Okay, sorry to bother you guys. But sometimes when I have no one to talk to, I come here to the DIS to get it out. It does help and I hope you guys don't mind.
I do hope each of you had a happy thanksgiving! :hyper2:

Blessings,

Denise :flower3:

Hi Denise. I will say you lost me on all that there, but as long as you are happy, that's what counts. Hope you guys had a good Thaksgiving also. :goodvibes

Yeah....gotta say I got a little confused there :) But as long as everything worked out okay. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! I know I ate about half my weight all over again....:teeth:

You don 't need a fancy ceremony, lots of people or any of those things to renew your vows. Maybe you two could find a romantic spot during your anniversary trip and simply recite new heart felt vows to each other.. with only you and God as your witness.

It's what is in your heart that matters.. not the pomp and circumstance that goes along with it.

I wish 15+ more years of happiness with your DH.

Cinderella 94 and Papa Dan....sorry for the confusion. I edited the post to just say the renewal was cancelled...period. All you guys need to know. I do that when I'm sad, I babble. Should have really re-read the post before I submitted new thread. Sorry.

I'm so sorry, you no doubt had your heart set on a vow renewal. Maybe you could do one next year?

Congrats on 15 years!

I'm sorry your disappointed, I hope you have a good trip anyway.

Hugs  to you and sorry you're disappointed about the vow renewal, but ya know...DH and I have been married 30 years this past September and we have never renewed our vows and really don't feel the need to do it. We meant our vows to each other the first time we spoke them so there's no real reason to say them again. Enjoy your week's vacation together. Being together, and being in love and happy is really what's important, right?
