Long story short. My husband and I would like to renew our vows as our 15th wedding anniversary approaches. We honeymooned at diney and for our 10th my husbnad and I had planned to have everyone come down and renew them then but it didn't work out. Now we feel is the time to do this. While we love disney I don't want over the top. I really want simple. Maybe the two of us on a beach renewing vows. It is personal between us and we are not trying to replicate our wedding. Does anyone have any suggestions as too what we could do that would be simple, romantic, and special. I've ordered a brochure but does anyone have any information about the whole experience to give. i would like to learn as much as I can about option that I have and any ideas others may have.

We did a Memories VR for our 10th and it was a great experience! It sounds like it might be what you're looking for - it's for the couple and up to four guests (we didn't have any guests). If you are looking for a beach location, Luau Beach at the Poly is one of the options. The Memories package was originally just for the 20th anniversary of DFTW but they have extended it (the DFTW website may not reflect that yet). The price has gone up but they now include more photo prints than the original offering, which just included 3 prints.

The info is here (it's sometimes hard to find because it's under the Escape tab)

For us, this was a perfect option - had everything we wanted, photography, flowers, a pretty venue, music and I thought the price was reasonable compared to some options we looked at in other locations (like Vegas).

Good luck!:goodvibes

I second that suggestion! The Memories Collection is a low-cost way to have an official Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings vow renewal for a small group.

Here's a thread with lots of photos of the locations (note that the Narcoossee's Landing ceremony location has been replaced by Sunrise Terrace at Wilderness Lodge): http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2589374

If you want to order a fancy custom cake to be served at a Disney restaurant after your vow renewal, here's a complete breakdown of the process and options: http://disneytravelbabble.com/how-to/order-cake/

Definitely the Memories collection would be perfect :thumbsup2 DH and I did this for our VR in July on Luau Beach - just the two of us - very romantic, everything was sooo special :lovestruc I think you'll be very happy with this package - just enough choices to personalize and enough add on options to spend $$$ as much as you want/need:laughing: We added a photo session at DHS and had dinner at V&A's in our wedding attire - so there are a lot of ways to keep it special..... Have fun planning - no doubt you'll make wonderful memories....:flower3:

My husband and I did a memories VR back in October. It was just the two of us at Conch Key marina at the GF and it was perfect.
After our ceremony and photo session we had a private dinning dinner on a balcony at the GF. Fabulous.
I do have pictures on the disney photo site but since I'm not computer savy at all I don't know how to put them on this site.
If anyone can tell me how I would love to share.
Our photographer was Daryn and he did a beautiful job and was a great guy.
