Hello fellow WDW Fans.
If I may a little background. My DW and I are AP holders. This Sep will be our 10th Anniv. We did our honeymoon @ WDW 1995. I have booked in a total surprise a VR Ceremony @ WDW, Beach Club Pavilion, since we both love tropical / beachy theme. I mean a TOTAL SURPRISE. I have changed a credit card address, created new user id's, make calls from work, have contact by e-mail only with WDW, and have my mother paying bills that arriver at her house, ect. I have her parents, and my parents flying in staying at OKW the morning before we arrive, she has no clue about any of this. We are at WL Woods view. Anyone ever stay there?
First off the wedding staff is more than great. Maxine you are a wonderful person, I can never repay you enough. Here are a few problems that I need a womans prosepctive on:
1. Since a total surprise, we will be causal dress. How do I pack for her?
I invision coming home (very) early from work on the day we fly and telling her lets go, I have made plans. I can get me packed but how do I pack her? When do I pack her? Flights should not be a problem, by that time she will know we are going to MCO, but no idea about VR
2. Clothing to wear the following 4 days at WDW not the problem. I have taken notes from our last 2 trips of what shirt goes with what shorts if I pack her. What do I pack or find to wear at the ceremony? Can I buy a nice tropical dress / blouse at like Poly before? Have it delivered to room? Matching dress and shirt? Anyone ever seen anything like that?
3. How do I convince DW that at 8 am we need to be dressed. There is a limo outside waiting for us? Maxine and I talked she will meet us at BC as a Photographer taking our "Official" Picture for our ann. Then she escorts us outside I drop to one knee and hope she says YES. How do I get her in the limo without her knowing her parents, my parents are waiting at BC for a VR ceremony without blowing the surprise?
4. I am not a tight person about money with this. I did it as an Add-on, however we both love a certain "friend". Is it worth the extra $750.00 to have our friend at the VR Ceremony?
5. I am nervous as all get out. Any ideas to make this ever more magical will help.
I guess biggest thing is how to pack her and what to wear??? She is on teh boards all the time I hope like all heck she does not read this section lol. In advance Thank you.
