Vouchers

Can you veterans tell me about these meal vouchers? The "quick and casual" ones sound perfect for our family of four, with children 8 and 4. We eat very few "nice" meals at Disney as we don't like to plan our days around restaurant reservations. Even these "fast" meals add up, though. Are the vouchers part of a vacation package or can they be purchased separately? We have DVC reservations for March and I would love to learn more about the vouchers. Thanks!

After using the vouchers this last week, I have to say that for us they were not a good deal really. Yes, I saved a couple of dollars off the price of what we got, but without the vouchers, we never buy dessert at counter service restaurants so our normal ordering habits would have cost us less than the cost of the vouchers. Does that make sense?

Some people have mentioned using the vouchers as a way to prepay for meals. Next time I will just continue to set aside money for meals. I had only purchased 6 of them and actually I have three left.

However, the breakfast vouchers definitely saved us some money and since the price of character meals is set no matter what you get, we came out ahead. For instance Cinderella's is now $19.99 plus tax and tip and the adult vouchers cost us $17.50 and include tax and tip.

I just joined mousesavers and I would like to know what Disney Quest purchases are. They talk about three day parker plus passes and Disney Quest tickets. Can someone please explain to me what it all involves?

disneymom3--I agree. We only use them where we can get a great deal--Beaches & Cream and Pepper Market.

It could save a few dollars at some of the counter places, but as you said we usually don't get dessert there. We also get 2 large drinks and the 4 of us them. So, it really doesn't save us $$$.

We use them for character breakfasts.

We used them at ESPN Club in June and had a great meal.
