Vouchers...Is it worth it for ME?

I had completely decided not to bother with vouchers since I could not see that they would save enough money for me to try and join a program (and then remember to cancel, too)! However, the more posts I read, the more confused I am. This seems to happen a lot as my trip gets closer. ;) Anyway, would some of you kind-hearted souls take a look at my eating schedule and tell me what, if anything, you would do in the way of vouchers? Your help is much appreciated!

Family members attending at ALL meals are: MIL, FIL, SIL, her DH, and their DD4 and DS<1, my DH and myself.

Day 1: Breakfast at CRT
Day 2: Dinner at Ohana's
Day 3: Lunch at 50's Prime Time
Day 4: Lunch at Marrakesh
Day 5: Thanksgiving dinner at CG OR 1900 Park Fare (how can i decide??? :( )
Day 6: Breakfast at CM's

From what I think I understand...LOL...the vouchers would be worth it for the 2 character breakfasts, but I wouldn't be able to use vouchers anywhere else. Is this correct?

BTW....this is post # 100 for me! YEA! Do I get a prize or at least some trinket for that? :p

You are right, vouchers would work at the character breakfasts. Vouchers would save you a couple of dollars per adult and a buck on the 4yo. Vacation Kingdom Lunch vouchers might work for Marrakesh and Prime Time. I'll check to see if these locations are included. However, at $30.50 per lunch voucher it might not save you any money.

Remember with your Cinderella breakfast, you will be charged on your credit card you used for your reservation......I think. I was going to find breakfast vouchers and use them for mine, but then I remembered that my card will be charged 1/2 the amount when I arrive. I may be wrong. I'm not sure how it works with credit card reservations and vouchers. I hope It doesn't confuse you. Just wanted to remind you of it. Is there someone out there that knows how the vouchers work with credit card reservations?

As for using vouchers at Cindy's.........................it's no problem. When you make your reservation they will charge you a deposit of $10 per adult and $5 per child. What typically happens if you were just going to pay for the breakfast is that they deduct the deposit from the final bill and you pay the balance. If you use vouchers they will use your vouchers to pay for the entire breakfast and will refund the deposit to the credit card used when the reservation was made. Just watch your statement to make sure the credit shows up.

I have read they will credit your credit card at Cinderella's if you pay in another form (including vouchers) so that shouldn't be an issue. WE have a similar dilemma. I think you would save ordering them for adults at CRT breakfast ($17 w/ tax and tip vs $20 plus tax and tip). You don't mention any counter service eateries but if you plan to eat at any of them you would probably save some as well with the Quick and Casual vouchers.
