How many states do you think will be reporting voter fraud?

My prediction is all.

Depends on who wins and how close it is. If the Democrats win, I doubt we'll hear much. If they lose or lose by a narrow margin there will be fraud reported everywhere.

::yes::

There has been voter fraud since the dawn of time, it will always happen. They usually have some stats out about how many dead people vote each year, etc.

It's just about all the left leaning blogs are talking about....one prominent blog has even posted a "tip sheet" for Dem campaigns on how to contest a close race by claiming voter fraud, even if they don't know there's been voter fraud.

of course they don't consider all o the 'registrations' that ACORN turned in to be fraudulent, that's their MO.

Would you consider the middle of the night calls by the Republicans pretending to be democrats fraud? I would, and I hope the RNC is punished, but I'm sure that won't happen. The only other voting problems I've heard about besides that are changes in polling places and lots of voting machine problems without provisional ballots available as a back-up.

Plenty of REPORTED fraud, but there will not be a single conviction...

It is not Voter Fraud - it is Election Fraud. If you haven't, you should check out "Hacking Democracy" on HBO.

"This cautionary documentary exposes the vulnerability of computers - which count approximately 80% of America's votes in county, state and federal elections - suggesting that if our votes aren't safe, then our democracy isn't safe either."

Wait a minute--do you really think this was a coordinated action plan set forth by the RNC? REALLY??????? You don't think that it might just be some idiots acting alone (if indeed this really happened -- is there a credible news sourse reporting this?) who happen to be Republicans? And do you HONESTLY believe NO Democrats anywhere in the US did anything just like it? Really?????? If that's true--all I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!

If the RNC or DNC got punished for every single unethical act committed by some of its idiots members acting alone--neither party would even go one day unpunished.

actually the rnc already admited to the robo calls on msnbc
i believe they are only wrong because they are sup to identify themselves at the beginning of the message and they are waiting til the end of it to do so

Do you have any evidence that this is true, other than that a DNC is saying so? I don't have any idea, myself, what's allowed or not. But I'm certainly not going to just take the DNC's word for it, and I've yet to see anyone else weigh in.

Check youtube...it's all over the place.

Lauri, are you concerned about election fraud on the front end - that is, through voter registration fraud? Or is it only the accuracy of the ballot counting that puts our democracy at risk?

With voter registration fraud we have actual proof that it happens, time and time again - yet Democrats don't seem to care. But they sure are worried about our democracy when it comes to the vulnerability of those counting computers - something that's only been suggested could/ happen, not that it ever actually has. :confused3

Again, my question is:

The DNC is claiming that under election law, the calls have to identify the caller at the beginning, rather than at some other point in the call. I have no idea if that's actually the law or not. Do you?

Please don't confuse the issue with facts. ;)

How about ALL the facts. Voter registration and election results fraud are two separate things. Bet was stating that the Dems are only interested in counting fraud.

Funny, we had all 3 networks on at the gym this morning and NONE of them were reporting any voting problems. I'm sure that problems will surface in VA if Allen wins, but so far not a peep about it.

If the Democrats were serious about reforming the way we vote in this country, we would be hearing about it even when they win.

If the Democrats were interested in honest elections, they wouldn't sue to stop a voter ID law, whenever one is passed.

There were some issues here in Ohio. Seems that the Secretary of State (goodbye Blackwell!) didn't properly advise all poll workers about the ID requirements. I had issues with a poll worker when I showed my driver's license--my old address is on it. I had printed out a page from the state Board of Elections website that said specifically I didn't have to have my current address on my driver's license. See http://www.sos.state.oh.us/sos/id/index.htm Had to show it to the guy at the desk before he would let me vote at the machine. I did have a pay stub with my current address, but I wasn't going to show it unless he gave me a harder time. He needed to know the rules, IMO. I read about someone else in the county having to show a picture ID because the poll worker said someone could steal whatever ID he was rightly showing (bank statement, I think) from his mailbox. Others had the same issues I had with the driver's license address not matching.

It's this kind of crap that makes showing IDs at the polls craziness.
