Not to send the thread spinning down a rathole, a spider is an animal. Insects are simply a class of animals. Just like mammals are a subset of the overall animal population.

I included this picture through because the rules clearly state that pictures taken on an Adventures by Disney trip are allowed. Since ABD does trips to Yellowstone, I allowed the picture to be included in the voting.

I've ridden EE many times and had never noticed a bird there before. Since I had to frame of reference to disallow the shot, I let it in.

For these contests, I've adopted the attitude of erring on the side of inclusion rather than exclusion. These contests are just for fun, there aren't any prizes riding on the results.

If people don't think the picture qualifies, then don't vote for it. I think ChiSoxKeith has the right idea (even if he is a White Sox fan.)

No big deal ... as you state; it's just for fun.

I think part of the problem is that the eagle on EE doesn't always work. I've seen it on the majority of times I've ridden, but not always. But, it's definitely part of the ride....
