Vote Mama Melrose or 50's PT?

50's PT is one of my favorite places to eat in all of WDW! The shakes are to die for and the food is so yummy! The fried chicken is excellent. I have such a weakness for fried food. My parents love it, too. I remember the first time we went, I was something like 7, and it was so funny to see my mom be admonished for not eating her green beans! Dad got told off for having elbows on the table. The atmosphere is great, it feels like home. And trust me, so long as the kids your going with like chocolate, there will be something for dessert they'll eat, which is the best bribe ever.

We just love the 50's PT! Although last time we were there in December, the portions seemed to have shrunk a bit...

Definitely 50's...it is so fun and wonderful service!

and...Mama Melorose was by far our WORST dining experience EVER at Disney...I honestly can't think of another bad experieince, actually, if that tells you something! We waited 45 MINUTES for our waters and sodas...and well, we were there a total of 2 1/2 hours WAITING for varous courses and the check! We would've much rather have spent our time waiting an extra 1/2 hour in the Fantasmic theatre than in this restaurant to eat mediocre food (that's being generous...it was actually not very good at all) and we missed out of the fun we always have at 50's....so, there's our rationale for our vote!

PT has the best Fried Chicken.
Be aware if you are a sensitive person, they pick on people for fun.
Your server will be your Aunt or Uncle and sometimes they will give it to you pretty good.

Thanks so much for all the posts and votes! I still haven't decided for sur bit it looks like we will switch to 50's PT since it will be more fun.
