VOTE: America's best theme park

Hey I found this on Allears yesterday. You can vote once a day. I was surprised and kinda happy to see that Disney parks are all towards the bottom of the list and smaller parks that haven't been overrun with greed are getting the love they deserve. I voted for Dollywood. It's a gorgeous, well kept park with amazing staff! I've never encountered such friendly people in my life! I was walking to the ticket booth once and a man told me that he had a free guest pass if I wanted it. I wondered what the catch was and he said, "all you have to do is walk in with me." They have bring a friend passes for AP holders and he told me that his friend couldn't come so he didn't want it to go to waste. Saved me over $80 that day! Oh and if you haven't been to Dollywood at Christmas, you don't know what you're missing! She decorates in over 5 MILLION lights! Imagine an entire park looking like the Osborne lights! Anyway, happy voting! Maybe our voices will be heard THIS way with Disney?

Having a child who was addicted to roller coasters growing up means we have been to most of the theme parks in the contest. We just haven’t been to the ones in California. We’ve been to Dollywood several times. It is ok, but by no means our favorite.

Yeah, when does the voting on this close? If it's after the summer, then yeah, but right now nobody knows what that ride is like. I may as well vote for TRON! Of course, someone could have actually ridden that in Shanghai.

It looks like the voting ends on April 25:

"Vote once per day until polls close on Monday, April 25 at noon ET. The 10 winning attractions, determined by your vote, will be announced on Friday, May 6."

So yeah, before it opens!
