Von's Delivery ..... NEED HELP!!!!!

So, I'm trying to order some things for delivery tomorrow and I keep getting an error that says

"We apologize, Vons.com does not deliver in the 92803 zip code at this time.

If you would like us to notify you when we start delivering to your area, please complete the following form."

I used the 92803 zip code based on the GCH's address (1600 S. Disneyland Drive Anaheim, CA 92803) found on the Disneyland website. Is this a new thing? Is there a trick to ordering and delivering to the hotel???

I don't know if this helps, but we'll be staying at the HoJo for a week beginning this Saturday, 5/30, and I set up a grocery delivery with Von's for zip code 92802 without any problem. HoJo's is so close to the parks that I can't imagine they don't deliver to your location.

Did you check to see if they are still delivering? I know one chain stopped deliveries but cannot find out which one. Also check your hotel's zip code as Disneyland probably has its own zip code.

Well, that's strange. Disneyland Hotel is 92802. HoJo is 92802. I'd put in 92802 and I bet they'll find you.

Large companies sometimes have their own zip code. The post office then is able to send all the Disneyland parks mail to Disneyland and thus keep it out of the regular mail routes. Congratulations on another Disney secret revealed.

We saw a vons.com truck enter the delivery entrance of DLH last week, so I suspect they still deliver to the Disney hotels.

On the Vons delivery website, there is a number you can call to confirm. We had to do that once with a different address. They are very helpful.

Forgive me for being dense but one question about the delivery to GCH. How do I order without knowing what my room number is going to be. Do I need to wait and order when I get there. Sorry if this is the worlds dumbest question. Cheers!!

It will be stored under your name till you check in. Or in some cases bell services may deliver it to your room. I have been lucky enough to have the delivery service leave me a voice mail that it was left at the hotel, and by the time I went to check to see, bell services had already taken my stuff to my room for me. Order, let them know what day you are checking in, and a time to deliver close to the time you will be there. You will either get a call to come down, or the hotel will bring it up. The store does not deliver to the room.

When we had Vons delivered to GCH, I put in the 92802 zip code but in the notes section of your order advise them that it is going to GCH.

I called Vons to make sure they would still deliver it with a different zip nd it was not a problem at all.

God Bless you Madam, 7 years of college education and 2 degrees and the concept of having groceries delivered to my hotel room had me totally stumped. Thanks so much!!

I called the DLH today to confirm and they said I would have to be there to accept the delivery. If there were perishable items, they would not be refridgerated for me. I really don't want to wait around for Von's to deliver. Hmmm...

There are numerous OCTD buses, ART, and bus 460 that goes past an albertsons. Also check with the check in pages for people staying in town who might want to share a cab. I do not have a nice car or I would give you a ride. 90% rust, lol, but she stops and that is what counts.

page 190 has the ART schedule and you can order the bus schedule probably.
They run 8 am to midnight usually and start at the Disneyland Shuttle area.
They run every 20 minutes and you can buy blocks of passes or multi day passes. Route 16 runs every hour though. Busses 10, 11 and 16 do not go to Garden Walk.

Page 181 is the Metro Bus 460 route that I love so much.

Page 173 is the Downtown Los Angeles to Fullerton Park and Ride bus. You can take the 460 or other busses to DLR form the Fullerton Park and Ride.
M-F and only very early and afternoons.

Page 161 is route 430 that goes from Amtrak to Katella and Harbor then northon Harbor past DLR and then left/west on Ball to Disneyland Way then south/left to Katella then right/west to Walnut then north/right to Magic Way the left onto the north boung Disneyland way and to the train station.

One could use that to get around Disneyland area or take it to the train station. From there you can transfer busses or take a train.
Bad news is it leaves the train station in morning and goes to the station in evenings weekdays.

page 124 has the 83 which goes around DLR and then east on Katella.

I am tired and have had a long day and OCTA is poorly designed site.
