Our party of 4 is volunteering between the 2 events. While 2 of our group does the 5K the other 2 are volunteering for the start of the 5K (we have a b-day girl doing the 5K!!! Woohooo!!!!) then we flip. 2 of us will do the 1/2 Marathon while the other 2 are manning the food section at the finish (I think is what they're signed up for). I was telling the one doing the finish refreshments that she is going to be much loved as she will be handing out the much desired bananas to the starving masses Beware to those handing out bananas at mile 6, Susan was tempted to hug the person thankfully she was so hungry she was easily distracted

The volunteers and cheering sections ROCK!!!!! Please come and join us we'd love to see your smiling faces

If they don't, I'll probably need one! I'm doing the 1/2 mary and shooting for a personal best time. If I don't achieve it, I'll probably die trying! A massage would sure feel good by then!

Thanks for the link! I just signed up as a fun run volunteer! (All of the actual marathon slots are not avalible.) How long does it take to get the info in the mail?
