Volunteering at GKTW - uber or rental?

H all!

I will be on property for marathon weekend in January and am thinking of volunteering for a few hours one day at GKTW. I don't rent a car for my WDW vacations and am wondering the best way to get to the site on the day I would volunteer. Has anyone Ubered/Lyfted over, and if so what was the cost? Would I be better off doing a one day car rental for that day?

I'm planning the same thing - to volunteer a day at GKTW - on my February trip. I'm planning to just uber, but would also love to hear from anyone who has done this!
