DH and I just volunteered on Sunday night at a camp for children with diabetes, they were doing a winter mini-camp for the long weekend. We had an awesome time helping in the kitchen and it flew by fast!
Today DH found out that his company will make a donation for each hour an employee volunteers their time. It probably won't be a lot since our shift was only two hours (we had the clean-up shift-lol), but I am sure they will be still happy to get a cash donation!
