Volcano Bay September

We are planning on a day at Volcano Bay in September. Either Monday the 23 or Wednesday the 25. Curious how busy we should expect it to be. And if we would be ok not arriving until say 10am ? We would like to be able to get a few chairs in the shade/ covered areas. Any thoughts or tips would be greatly appreciated. We will have 4 adults and 2 girls 11 &12.

I went on Sunday just gone around 10am, maybe even half 10 and we found a shady spot. If you go to the beach at the back of the park (think it’s called Hammerhead beach) there are three big structures and the middle one stays shady all day. There are also the beds with umbrellas and we went to those first.

Can’t help you with September but hopefully an August story helps alleviate your worries a little. I think you’ll be fine.
