Volcano Bay after 4pm for annual pass holders

We are going to Universal this July. Our annual passes allow us into Volcano Bay after 4pm. How strict are they on the 4pm timing? We will be taking a bus from Hard Rock and you never know when it will pick up and drop off. If we get there earlier than planned (for example 3:30pm) will they let us in, or will we have to stand there until 4pm exactly?

Be sure to check the website about the after 4 entry. We had AP's in 2019 and VB was supposedly after 4 entry during July, but right before we left for our trip, I checked and it said the after 4 restriction had been lifted and we went in earlier a couple of days. Now that may have been because it wasn't too crowded, so your miles may vary, but worth a check!
