Does your school offer a vo-tech program? Are you going to it? What's your "major"?

Mine does. I'm actually asking for some good thoughts involving it. Tuesday I go to meet with the vo-tech counselor over curriculum. I want to go for their nursing program. There's been a few complications (you can't go if you're on medically restricted activity [turns out to not be a problem] and it's a 3 year program) They can condense it into a 2 year program because I already have an edge on the other students.
So if I pass the testing on Tuesday, I'm in. If I continue with the program (which I def will if I'm accepted) I would graduate with my CNA (certified nurses assistant). This would definitely help after high school - I'd be able to go to college and get a decent job.

If you could cross all the crossables for me on Tuesday, I'd soooo appreciate it. I want to get into this program so bad!

My school has the nursing program too. Not only that, our school has a ShopRite, a beauty salon, an auto repair service, and a restaurant. All part of the vo tech system. Except this is only gonna be my first and only year there

My school offers a fairly good Vo-Tech program.

We've got an autoshop and a restaurant and both are wonderful! Half the kids that drive to school take their cars to the school shop to get fixed.

The government matched dollar for dollar what the towns put into the vo-tech program, so we have the most high-tech stuff you can get to learn on! It's great!

I'm pretty positive we do. I'm not sure exactly what it consists of. Autoshop/repair is all I know we have.

My high school offered it. You couldn't have paid me enough money to go there. :)

It had many different programs like auto, vet tech, nursing, childcare...lots of things. A lot of neighboring school districts could go there and the demographics weren't that great. A lot of drug users went there or kids who weren't doing well in regular school.

That's just how it is around here at least.
