VMK's New Way of Dealing With CL Apps

Now instead of sending you a refusal message, vmk just tells you, you need more time. I got this back in Oct. when i just started out and I know for a fact i have spent enough hourse because i have sent in an entry before. Everyone try and see what it says.

i no it has, but i got this back in Oct. but i reapplied in Dec. and got the questions. So now vmk is not allowing anyone

Actually, that is not quite right. I believe they are accepting applications again after April 1st.

Perhaps they mean you are too young? Idk why they would say it though; I mean you are only really supposed to get that message when you apply on the main screen; not via email.

I am sorry that you got that message. My guess is that since they recently responded to your previous CL application, you may need to spend X amount of hours on VMK before they will allow you to re-apply. That is simply a guess though.

Again, I wouldn't jump to conclusions here. Saying how VMK feels (i.e. "they are tired of sending out refusal messages") is 100% unfair. You are not them and cannot say how they feel. Likewise, specific criteria has to be met in order for you to become a leader. Something you might need to realize is that perhaps you do not fit this criteria as of right now.

ok people you got me all wrong, i was not saying that i was trying to become a CL, right now it does not matter. I was saying that vmk was trying to keep their inbox clear. Everyone started accusing me about jumping to conclusions. I made this post justto say that VMK is now sending this message out, and i wanted to see if there was any people out there that are not CL's and when they try to apply if they get the same message. even though they have applied before and had no problems.


I do fit the criteria to be a CL i dont no where that came from but w/e

The CL apps are a joke anyway.... Me: answers are xxx and x. VMK: no, you got them wrong. Me to another CL: Are these the same answers you had? CL: yes.....

Not for nothing lax, but I don't really see anybody accusing you of anything. And, this entire post has been about you applying and getting the message so I am not sure how you can say you did not tell us you were applying. lol

Also, again, you can't say that they're trying to keep their "inbox" clear. You do not know this for a fact. How do you know you fit the criteria when it is hidden?

This is not me being confrontational, but instead playing the devil's advocate. Think of both sides to a situation before making assumptions.

But one of the best ways to determine what exactly the criteria is, is to simply get together with other CLs and those who have applied to be CLs (but were turned down) and compare things with each other. Anywhere from length of time on VMK, to amount of time spent on VMK each week, to items you all own, etc. You can also "role play" to see how you all respond to different situations on VMK...from trading to game playing. While this isn't a foolproof way, it does help with determining just what the staff is looking for in a CL.

They're not extremely evil for sending out rejections letters to people who got the questions right. You're expecting too much of them. They could easily get several hundred applications a day (though it would probably stall a bit lower).
Just keep trying and be one of the first bunch on April 1st.
They don't have 4000 workers .

I agree and will further expand upon that! lol
I am sure there is some undetectable criteria for becoming a CL. From what I remember, those questions alone are not the most difficult questions they could ask about vmk. I am sure if they based it simply on the questions, there would be well over a few thousand community leaders lol.
