I like the newly added areas and all the other stuff, but I do wish that it was spaced out a bit instead of all put in at one time. But you know, they will work out the bugs and get it back to the way it was.

I am gald to see that they actually listened to what the people said in the survey. Yesterday I noticed that when someone in a pirates game it doesn't say "Not in any room" it actually says that game and the level. I like how we can sell rooms and how the furniture blink when you click on them to move or rotate.

Overall, I like everything they have added. It makes things exciting again.

I am really enjoying the new changes. I also wish things had been spaced apart a little...spread the wealth so to speak, but when it rains it pours! Change never runs smoothly especially in the world of technology to say the least! I am confident that the programmers will figure out the bugs and glitches that are causing the issues eventually...someday...over the rainbow! As frustrating as they are I still can't wait to play everyday (much to husband's dismay!).I have even felt the need to create an army of donkeys numbering 20 so far!(husband shakes head and wonders when I will get over this obsessionalready!)

Tequoia, has your DH been talking to mine. Mine isn't in to computer games of any kind so he is baffled by my devotion to VMK. That's fine with me, he on his computer all day and into TV all night. At least I now have players to talk to at night instead of just listening to TV or him snoring.

Hey we should start a disaffected DH club for them. Mine is ready to unplug my computer and throw it in the swimming pool! I told him to go have another beer and go back to flipping the channels on the remote! He is snoring by 9:00 pm on the couch, and I get baffled looks and comments when I roll into bed sometime after 1:00 A.M. ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Is it sad that you have more friends on here than in real life? I do not think so, I will take all the friends I can get! And it is always great to meet up with each other at the park! Oh and he would have a fit if he knew, I can here him now "Oh my god you are meeting people that you have met on-line?
Are you crazy" I will tell him "Hey we are meeting at DISNEY not a bar! and besides I have a black belt in taekwon-do and I think I can take care of myself" ha ha ha ha ha

The three of you I have met so far are super nice people by the way!

You 2 (girl and fly) are so funny! I actually got my husband to play the HM game last night, since I am horrible at all games.Every time he earned over 100 pts he got a kiss ...this made him a happy camper ...don't know if it will last but at least last night he stopped complaining and I earned some credits!!

Come to think of it VMK is "my" time I don't think I want him invading my turf. He does find it ridiculous that I talk to so many people online and consider them my friends. He just does not get it! LOL

I would love to meet up with Dis peeps someday in WDW, but since we just went in October for my birthday...I am thinking it may be awhile before I get to go again, although hubby did mention just the two of us going without kids just for a weekend...Christmas/Hanukkah is coming so who knows?

I really love the changes and new stuff on VMK. The river ride stuff rocks! And who does not like all the credits from the haunted mansion game?

For the past three days every time I log in it has taken about an hour just to get on, and then 3-5 minutes to get into each room. Once i get in a room the first time I can then get back in pretty easy. I thought after Monday it would not take so long to get logged in. Are they making major changes everyday or what?

Anyone else have this problem?

Or how about a club for us, the VMKers with disaffected spouses! I would join...my dh hates that I play VMK. I have to do it when he is not around.

But uh, back on topic...

Since I just got back I am still trying to see all the new stuff. It looks really great. I like the changes. I did crash while on the river ride thing (in the dis river network). But I didn't have any trouble logging on. I still need to play the HM game. I hope to do that tomorrow. It is a lot to take in all at once though!

i don't really like it that they added all this new stuff. it takes my computer at least 1 hour to actually get in. but i guess after they (vmk) gets through with all the bugs it'll be alright

LOL- we may need to add a kids version of this too- I know my oldest son and daughter would join- they spend just as much time on the computer (if not more) than I do but don't get the whole VMK thing- although oldest son plays many other games and oldest daughter started playing Habbo Hotel

I am the one who came into the obsession/addiction second (third really). My husband found the game in Beta- but didn't join then- and ended up joining just after opening. My youngest daughter joined a bit after him- I joined when my daughter referred to one of my dh's friends on the game as his "girlfriend" and then started emailing and chatting in IM conversations- (I remember the first time someone talked to him on VMK he exited the game because it freaked him out lol) So- all that in mind- I figured I would need to learn way more of what was going on- lol

And then 4 or so months later and I now play daily and spend way too many hours on the game- spend time on the DIS board- and in general have become probably more obsessed than he has been lol- and am currently dreading Christmas because we will be at my dh's parent's home and I don't know if they have internet back yet after the storm.

Oh and to go back on topic- I am thrilled with the changes- we needed some new stuff- I agree I would have liked it in smaller bites- but hey I'm not complaining- it will just take me much longer to learn it all lol
