VMK_Song gave me magics

I went to the Mark Twain on a hunch and VMK_Song was in there but not talking or moving. I wished him a happy new year. After a bit he told us to check our things. He gave us all 2 treasure detector magics.....

I am currently 5 for 7 on getting nothing with this magic so hopefully these will be the lucky ones.

P.S. I just ran into him again and he is giving out magic to everyone he meets!

Found as in you forgot you had them, or found as in they were never there before? Either way... sounds like you're having a great New Year already!

My luck has not been so hot. I'm having massive problems with almost all of the rooms (they're taking 10-15 minutes to load, if not more), and I haven't been able to finish my Christmas item shopping yet. Oh well. Still, Happy New Year, all!

Yes, some staff doesn't like the same people following them around. There are others that still haven't even seen staff tonight.

Poor Laurabearz has been waiting very patiently for a visit tonight. And she has a great room!

Hope all of you got to visit with at least one staff member! No such luck for me. Tried staying in a few rooms (Main Street, Central Plaza, one of my rooms), but nada. Too many computer issues to get into more rooms than that. Couldn't even get fireworks to work but a handful of times. *sigh*

Well, in case she does read the boards, I especially wanted to wish Hula a Happy New Year. I was hoping I'd run into her, but obviously no luck. I see her as a bit of a VMK kindred spirit since she seems to have as many if not more computer troubles than I do (plus she's very kind as well ). Hope you have a year free of computer glitches, Hula!

ETA: Hula, God Bless your heart! You truly embody everything Walt Disney (one of my heros) was about, and I'm so glad you're a staff member of this game. And I got to see VMK_Lion, for the first time ever I think! That was very exciting. Thanks all, for all you do to give us this great game. It has brought myself and countless others many smiles and made me feel closer to the Magic that is Disney.

I was told that all staff had to delete all their friends. That way it would be a little more fair.

Yep, it happened to me tonight. I had one treasure magic that was going to expire today. I used it in a room too close to the exit and walked right out of the room even though I was trying to make it turn back into the room, so it was a dud!

I never saw any staff today so I didn't get any goodies.

No wonder you were deleted. Wonder how many CL's followed Staff around last night and got deleted. Hopefully, the Staff made a list of those individuals who were CL's and abused their rights as a CL to get alot of magics. I know a few individuals who would love to be a CL but have not been accepted and would not abuse their role like that.

Your job as Community Leader is not to follow staff around like that. Maybe you should revisit what your role is as a leader.

I agree, Dis! I was on vmk for quite a while in Bears' room. Congrats to those who got the magic and other goodies! I had some crash issues, lots of lag and tons of afk moments...and of course, I missed Hula's visit due to yet another crash...haha! But following staff has never been something I have done. I find it to be rather rude. I'm happy for those who did win gifts, but I'm happier still to have been able to celebrate the New Year with some old and new friends.
