VMK Star Pin?

I just saw this new pin someone was wearing. it was the VMK Gold Reward Star pin or something like that. She said it wasn't tradeable and she wouldn't tell us where she got it. Any news on this? and sorry if someone else posted this

Eh, still think it is ridiculous. People only have to be kind when they are in a Host room, so it's not really like rewarding a person for doing good things...

The only way to do this correctly is if the Hosts create Guest Mules and witness acts of kindness that way.

While it seems this is possible to look at it in this light, and we joke about it a bit between friends. The jury is still out on this new program. We do not know the specific details on how they are running the program and the first round of stars went out and it did not appear that they went to "staff favorites" and people aren't running around sticking in peoples face. Still reminds me of Dr. Uses and the Star Bellied Sneaches. I think VMK staff is smart enough to see around charades and also not give them out with out some thought and research.

But back on the subject yes, this has been in the news letter and has been posted a few times. Not getting a lotof information about how the award was given or what lead to it, and that may be a good thing. I feel alot of people would run around trying to get them using the same method for the wrong reason. If you look at the people here on Dis, I think many will never be awarded Stars but they all have stars in my book. that is more what is should be about anyway. If you are looking to run around with 15 stars then it is for the wrong reason, yet I know people in real life like this they do stuff souly for the recognition and awards.

I find it both amusing and sad that the person wouldnt tell you where she got it... as that seems a bit rude, and your suppose to get it for being nice....

Hmm? Isn't this pin awarded for being nice to fellow players in VMK? Why on earth would they not say where they got it. I find that rude. Seems like some people are only being nice when they "need" to be.

now come on, it can't only be awarded in host rooms, can it???? because some people like me have never made it into a host room, and chances are when we do, we will be very pushy and determined to make it through the host event without dcing............... jk...........
