VMK Server location

Anyone have any idea where the server for the game is? Is it at WDW? DL? Anybody have any speculation as to where it is? I'm betting my credits it's in Florida, but that's because I'm biased to the East Coast.

I think it's at WDW. People who have been on the VIP tour there have claimed to have met Yavn. Also the night they didn't judge all the rooms because of thunderstorms. We were having bad storms that night.

... may be just me but the smiley's and top header graphic are "broken" this morning. Seems to be all that are on the wdwinfo.com server - disboards.com is OK.

It's public knowledge. You just have to know where to look

The VMK sim runs from the www2.virtualmagickingdom.com domain which resolves to 64.34.75.7 which anyone can look up with an IP location tool on the Internet as being located in Columbus Ohio.

If someone smarter than I finds I made a mistake, feel free to correct me

The physical location of the server is really irrelevant. For instance, the VMK launch page is in California as far as I can tell.

Quite right. My business servers are located in CT and IL ... but my office is in FL where I manage them.

At least one of the VMK's lives in Florida -- was affected by the hurricanes and needed to leave her home (no damage though! ).
