VMK items are disappearing from inventories everywhere!

hi DIS members!!!!

DID this happen to you????


Yesterday I was going to trade with another DIS member for the new animators desk and stool and I picked up a halloween pumpkin to trade( actually picked up two) and went to trade window only to find that one pumpkin was missing from my inventory and I had to back out of trade and pick up another pumpkin.


Then another member, DaraSue had her animators desk go missing from her inventory last night.


Has anyone else had this happen to them in the last few days????


Just wanted to see how many things are floating around in VMK black hole!

Wow! I will go check mine right now! What is the suggestion? Should we keep everything placed in a storage room just in case? Do you thik it might help?

Malicifent2 this has happened to me many times in the past. I have asked for help from vmk and they said they can do nothing and said that i must be more careful! Then i talked to a staff member and they ignored me! i don;t know what we are supposed to do about it Vmk will not listen to us!

Yes Mal, a day ago one of my teleporters magically disappeared when I was switching it to another room. There was also a post of someone putting on their top hat, and losing it! Oh VMK why are you testing us!

Sadly I have so much furniture, pins, clothing, and credits, I would never know if I was missing any particular item unless a bunch of it was missing. Quite frequently I have dificulty locating pins and clothing but they always turn up.

Some how I am missing an entire room's worth of stuff. I have no idea where it is.

it does not seem to be things in rooms but when you go to put them on, move them, pick them up etc for the most part.


with the exception of Adio who seems to be missing a whole room.

I know that VMK reads our forums so I just want them to be aware of this situation and try to find a fix for this.

My mom, AmberDaze, had that happen. when Disney-ite gave 2 animator desks and 2 stools to my mom and me, my mom looked in the inventory and found 3 stools and 2 animator desks. She told Disney-ite about the extra stool (the extra stool wasn't in trade window). What's amazing is that she did look well and I even looked with her 3 times. No idea what happened there - if it was a bug or anything. But whatever it was, it was pretty weird. She hopes her desk and stool don't disappear!!

same here i have so much i wouldn't be able to tell! sometimes i can't find things and just leave it alone bc i know it will turn up sometime later. i think it's just a bug and hopefully everything will turn up later.

also, i have heard things a while ago, on these boards, that there is some person out there who knows everyones log in info and steals their stuff. i for one don't believe it but you never know.

I was just able to log back on (DH has been playing his game all morning; ugh! Father's Day!). My desk is still gone. No message from VMK.

boy do I feel really stupid. I just had an image of putting my desk in one of my rooms, but I hardly remember doing it. Bottom line is that one of my desk is in my HSM room, just where I put it! I am so sorry for having others think that it disappeared. Did too much furniture moving last night, I guess.

I did get a thrill seeker pin and I can't find it either Not that it's a big deal because hey, it's a pin... lol, but all the same, it's nice to have a full set! oh well

VMK has a lot of problames lately heres the stuff that happend to me in the past week:

i couldent trade (it works now)
and all the rooms were priced at 0 credets (BUT THEY WERE STILL NOT FREE)


i think there is i bug in VMK. but im not compleatly sure.

One of my hotel pins up and poofed yesterday. Not like anyone could've taken it and traded it away because I was already in the game. It was there 1 minute, and 10 minutes later it was gone (I believe it was the Disneyland Hotel). Maybe it'll be back today. I can hope anyway.

Only other time anything like that's happened is with furniture. Stuff I have in my inventory that I never got around to putting anywhere will just be gone out of nowhere. I either go to another room or log out and log back in, and every time it's showed back up. Hopefully that luck will continue.
I also had problems buying anything the last few days. It'll give me an error message saying I don't have enough credits to buy anything (not even a 50 credit item) and I need to earn credits if I want to shop. Never mind that at that point I had about 53,000 credits.

Sorry to hear so many of you are losing things. Staff response seems a lot to be desired as well.

there is no such person! Please do not spread rumors like this because it is totally NOT true.

there is no hacker.

They may be a bug but items disappearing is not the work of a hacker.

Especially in the my case where I was playing my character when the pumpkin just up and vanished.
