I did the vmk tour today and it was really cool I won a lot of stuff but I also met a creator of the game.It is really cool to see what they had in plan for the future like frontierland. They also told us a lot of stuff that you wouldn't normaly know. Between me and my mom I came home with about 26 cards with codes. So if you are going anytime soon and you are into Vmk i would definetly try to do it. Has anyone else done it? What did you think?

We loved the tour. We did it earlier this month. The kids loved going on the rides without a wait. We got received alot of cards. My daughter won the Jungle Cruise Explorer Room (with Mom's help). That is nice that you met the creator of the game.

It was kind of funny though because the tour guide had no idea who he was. She was telling him all these things he already knew.

How do I do the tour? I went to vmk only once and I have no idea what to do.

DH and I did the tour with AdioSkater and his mom. :wave2: It was a lot of fun. Won some cool VMK stuff.

Hi all, this is my first DIS post. I have been reading the posts for several days and it seems that you all are a great bunch of people. I found the site when looking for more information on VMK.

Anyway, here's my question. I went on the Insider's Tour and never received a VIP card. :confused3 I went to Disneyland about a week after my tour to ask about it, and the cast member said that I have to wait until next month to do the tour again and get the card. What I want to know is when do they give you the card with the code? Before the tour or after it is over? I had to leave the tour while they were doing the Innoventions registration to pick up my wife from work. Did I miss out because I left early?

At WDW you had to have the card in order to book the tour. They gave us our VIP cards when we finished all the quests, then we took them to guest relations to book the tour.
What did you show to prove you had finished the quests when you booked your insider tour?

When you have finished the quests, and you go to your respective VMK facility to get your well-earned prizes, you get the card that has a place on the back to write the date and time for your VMK Insider Tour. On that card is the code that you enter to get the purple VIP indication on your character.

Maybe they ran out of VIP cards or something that day and couldn't give me one. Oh well, lol, I will just be an Non-Very Important Person until I get to go on the tour again. :earboy2:

The past few weeks I have seen more and more people visiting both Disneyland and Walt Disney World (either locals or vacation). Many people who have been playing Virtual Magic Kingdom have decided they would do the game tours. These tours have wielded numerous code treasures within Virtual Magic Kingdom, but many have also purchased items which yielded secret code. I would be more than happy to collect information from people attending these tours or buying items within park so I can create a post. There seems to be many posts regarding going on the tour or coming back from kingdom, but unfortunately I have not seen any main thread posts regarding what you can possibly receive from doing these tours or purchasing items within park. I would love to see a main thread around this topic that assists people visiting Walt Disney World or Disneyland.

i wish i went on the tour im not going till next year i more than likely will be over vmk by then :'(:(:(:(:(:(

You should have been given the card as soon as you completed the Adventureland, Frontierland, and Fantasyland quests. Go back to VMK Central and ask for the VIP tour card - they have a record in their computers of what quests you've completed in the past 30 days, so they can check to make sure that they gave you the prizes already for the three quests, and then they'll give you the VIP card.

By leaving the tour early, you may have missed the Haunted Mansion quest, which gives out lots of other cards.

No, I only left about five minutes before the tour ended. I did do the haunted mansion quest! :o) Fun!

I missed the Haunted Mansion Quest because the Haunted Mansion was busted by the time we got there. The good news was that the tour guide gave us all the prizes. :goodvibes
