VMK Insider Tour Prize??

Hi all -- this has been a great board!

My husband won the following prize last night (for finding the 50 hidden mickeys) and I was wondering if any of you have done it. It sounds very cool but could be 5 minutes of hohum. I'm heading to Disney in November, but only for one day and I was going to do EPCOT Food and Wine. Now I wonder if I should go to MK.

ok, I'm a stay-at-home Mom, Lee Ann, with two girls, 9 and 7. Big Disney fans. My nine year old was a flower girl when she was 2 1/2 at a Poly Disney Wedding. And she has had SIX Ariel themed birthday parties. My 7 yo is having a Mulan theme party Monday. I also got engaged at EPCOT. You can't have bigger fans than us! And they are happy I am going by myself in November to see a friend - well, at least they were until we got the VMK award! Now I am trying to figure out how to fit a day in at MK! It does sound cool. Have a great weekend!

OK, now I see the search option! I looked for it before but didn't "see" it. I found a lot of great info about the tour, and it looks like great fun. If anyone has anything personal to add it would be great!

My DH and I did this tour last month! It was a lot of fun, and we had Yavn himself as our tour guide. In the middle of the Jungle Cruise boat ride it started to rain. Actually, monsoon more aptly describes it. lol He took a vote of all of us tour people and we voted to finish our "tour" from the dry comfort of inside VMK Central on Main Street USA. A couple of people did opt to come back another day to go on another tour, but we were leaving in 2 days and didn't have that option. The tour guide was very nice and even helped us with some of the answers to the Quest that we got during the tour. I think because of the rain he felt bad, and went easy on us, and gave us a few more extra cards than we would've gotten normally.

I definitely recommend this tour; it was great fun, you learn a few things about the parks that you might not have known otherwise, and you get lots of trading cards that have codes for prizes on VMK. Not to mention cutting in line in some attractions!
