vmk crashes, do I need more memory?

VMK crashes after about 10 minutes, and when I play some of the game like jungle cruise, all the animals pop up at once, then the smoke, then I cant move boat or camera, after they are gone, then the camera and boat move but nothing to shoot I only have 256k on amd 2600 do you think more memory will help?

it would definitely help to have more memory. Cant guarantee thats what your problem is, but that is pretty low.

I am actually amazed that you can run VMK at all...

I only have 384k of memory. I do need more memory (as well as speed).

The system requirements to play VMK do say 1.5GHz CPU or faster (although mine is only 1GHz), 256MB RAM or more and at least 2 GB of free hard drive space.

These are only the minimum requirements.

It also helps to clean out your temp files often and cookies once in a while.

I usually clean out my temp files after every 2 games of anything. I do it while I'm still in VMK, so it doesn't get everything, but it helps. I also have to log out and log back in everyone once in a while too.

It also helps to reboot your system. I do it every day before I log in the first time.

Memory is cheap now days so upgrade to the max you can get it will only help.
Look in the books that came with the PC or the manufacture website and it will tell you what kind and the max you can add.
Newegg is where I order most of my parts now they are fast and you can read the reviews on products and if you have a issue they are good about returns.

I added 2gig of memory to my pc and the speed things load and run are much improved.

Maybe the sites busy that sites always crashing lol especially during the holidays when rare comes out and stuff lol.
